The staff in the Resource Base have put their heart and soul into creating a multi-sensory learning environment for the children in our school. They have spent time planning and researching creative and beneficial learning spaces which would also support the motivations and interest of all the current and possible future learners in the Resource Base.

During our last Inset Day, the Resource Base Team had the opportunity to create and develop the space. We had support from our site team and a couple of amazing parents and sisters who gave up their time to support us on “Renovation day” With litres of paint and plenty of enthusiasm, the team has created a special place that they can all feel immensely proud of. Our “Sensory shed”, Herb garden, outdoor classroom and construction corner, water wall and music wall have been the highlights but there are many other provisions. This is a product of the staff’s commitment to the children within the Resource Base. The most import part....the children, who have absolutely loved their new space!
